CANCELLED – Leo’s legacy cycle

Omagh Wheelers are organising a charity sportive In honour of Leo McKenna … loyal member of the club… timekeeper, marshal, lead car, broom wagon… the list goes on..,

Our chosen charity is Marie Curie … a team of angels that cared for dad in his final months, and were a tower of strength to us his family.

We have selected two routes … both favourites of his… and will hopefully suit all abilities of cyclist .

55 miles
Omagh – Strabane – Castlefin – Castlederg – Drumquin- Omagh

35 miles
Omagh- Newtownstewart – Drumquin – Omagh

Both routes will be fully supported, with food and changing facilities on return

Sign on opens 8.30 with first group away 10am

Minimum donation is £10.

Please share the event page far and wide … dad was a friend to cycling clubs all over the country … and it would be fitting tribute to have the Dromore road filled with a rainbow of cycling jerseys in honour of the legend himself xx
